• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Process Experts, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
• Drive process plant design and customer supply concepts within project development
• Act as primary contact for all process engineering topics (thermodynamics, hydrodynamics, design, apparatus engineering)
• Optimize processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability; support operations in troubleshooting and plant performance
• Collaborate closely with engineering groups, corporate functions, and international regions to align project goals
• Ensure performance of the process engineering group, meeting deadlines, cost targets, and safety standards
• Provide expert guidance in industrial gas production to ensure high production reliability

Your profile: 

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Chemical or Process Engineering
• Proven leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing engineering teams
• Strong expertise in industrial gas processes, with focus in at least one core area: air separation, hydrogen production, or carbon capture
• Solid experience in process optimization and lean manufacturing principles
• Strong strategic and operational skills, including project management, resource allocation, and cost control
• Excellent communication skills in English; German proficiency is a plus
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
